Vision Context
During an intercessory prayer meeting at Vision Church on the morning of Tuesday , 31 August, 2021 I received a vision for intercessors, watchmen, and prophets.
I saw the surface of the earth boiling with dust kicked up high enough to obscure masses of people trapped within it. They were moving about singly or in small to exceedingly large groups, and in various directions and speeds trying to escape to clean air. Some moved with purpose, some with panic, and some appeared resigned to their fate.
As this unfolded I saw pinnacle-like columns rise out of the choking dust; some were smooth and straight; others rough and jagged. Some rose high above the dust, others just above it.
Then, from within the dust, climbers began to appear and advance up the pinnacles at varying speeds with varying skills; one climber per pinnacle. And as they climbed their vision was limited mostly to what was immediately in front of them; especially at the beginning of their climb.
Some reached the top of their pinnacle quickly with little effort because of their training, will to succeed, appropriate equipment, and ease of climb. Others struggled however; took far longer; failed multiple attempts to overcome obstacles, and received wounds along the way before success. And one thing stood out; all the successful climbers seemed to accelerate as they neared the top.
Sadly though, some climbers encountered obstacles they wrongly thought they could not overcome, gave up, and sank back into the dust.
The successful climbers who reached the top could see other climbers on other pinnacles of various heights stretching to the horizon on all sides. And, they could also see that some of the pinnacles were unoccupied. Each successful climber knew they were part of a much larger group who had persisted and prevailed.
Then the Word Of The Lord came: “These are My Intercessors, My Watchmen, My Prophets, My Servants. These are those who have persevered and prevailed, can see and hear clearly above the dust, and know how to Pray and Convey My Heart.
As I watched, the climbers prayed and light broke out from within and around them, shined down and around to the bases of their pinnacles and drove the dust away.
As the dust cleared the earth calmed and the unsuccessful climbers, and trapped people and nations begin to breath again.
Then the Lord asked: “Who will make the climb for Me? Who will ascend to My Prepared Places? Who will Partner with Me and those whom I have Called?”
“Will it be you?”
